*Please note that when boundary lines are changed, such as a division or recombination of property, the survey map is required to be recorded at the Register of Deeds. Depending upon the type of survey, this process may also involve the planning department for the jurisdiction that the property is located within, and as such, it will have to go through an approval process with the planning department.
You may also contact your local planning/permitting/environmental health departments to learn more about their procedures and requirements.
When contacting us for a free estimate, please provide us with the following information (if you do not have all of the below, please provide us with what info you have):
- Location of the property (County that the property is located within, address, NCPIN Number, Parcel ID, etc.)
- Property owner name
- What type of survey work is needed - if you are not sure, please describe what you are trying to do/accomplish with the property
- Any additional information that may be helpful
The above information will allow us to pinpoint the property so that we can pull information, such as the tax map, deed, aerial, etc. Our surveyor will review the property information, what type of survey work is needed, the size of the property, etc. so he can prepare an estimate for you.
